Fresh, clean, ripe and sound plum fruits which are transferred to the Plum Pulp Concentrate production facility are first subjected to pre-washing and sorting stages and the selected plums are then subjected to the milling process where the intermediate product called the Plum Mash is obtained. After that, the plum mash is heated up to a certain temperature and goes under the fining process in order to obtain the final product called the Plum Pulp. A further evaporation (concentration) process is perfomed in order to produce the Plum Pulp Concentrate if a higher concentration is required.

Plum Pulp Concentrate is then packed, through aseptic filling or cold filling, into PE bags in metal or plastic drums, in bins or into food tankers with specific volumes as per customer requirements and then the packed plum pulp concentrate is transferred to the storage area.
